
East Road
BSM are appointed as Planning & Environmental Consultants to a major mixed use residential development on a 2ha site on East Road, Dublin 3. The development was permitted by An Bord Pleanala, with the support of Dublin City Council, under the Strategic Housing Development planning process. The scheme is set out in 9 no. blocks, ranging in height from 3 to 15 storeys to accommodate 554 no. apartments, c. 2,500 co-working/enterprise space, c. 350 sq.m of retail units, a c. 650 sq,m foodhub/cafe/exhibition space, residential amenity, creche and men's shed.

Apollo House & College House
BSM are appointed as Planning Consultants to a major commercial development on the block known as the 'Hawkins House' block under the George's Quay LAP. BSM originally achieved planning permission for the Apollo House and Hawkins House blocks and submitted a series of subsequent planning applications to further maximise the permitted development on the site and the addition of a residential tower of up to 21 storeys on the permitted Apollo block. The scheme as now permitted includes c. 54, 000 sq. of commercial office space and 54 apartments as well as ground floor retail, cafe, restaurant uses.

Castleforbes
BSM are appointed as Planning & Environmental Consultants to a major mixed use residential development on a c.2.5ha site on Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1. The scale of the site and the range of mixed uses proposed has necessitated the 'splitting' of the site into separate applications to respond to zoning requirements and to the requirements of SHD planning applications. The two commercial elements, including a hotel and office scheme and a hotel scheme, have been permitted by DCC and the final part of the scheme, being the residential element in with ABP for decision.

Clonliffe
BSM are appointed as Planning & Environmental Consultants to a major residential development at the former Clonliffe College Lands. The application which is at Pre-Application Consultation Stage with An Bord Pleanala will contain c. 1,600 residential units over a number of residential blocks interspersed between an extensive network of public open space in a single Strategic Housing Development application.

Exo Building
The Exo Building which is a 17 storey commercial office building that sits adjacent the 3Arena at the terminus of the Luas. Planning permission was received from Dublin City Council for the building and the extensive public realm at Point Square on behalf of Grant Thornton Receivers and BSM are retained through the current construction process.

Central Plaza
BSM are appointed as Planning Consultants for the redevelopment of the former Central Bank Building on Dame St. The site has been subject to a number of planning applications to bring these former bank offices back to use. The scheme as permitted includes for a new rooftop destination in the city, a new public plaza onto Dame Street and numerous new office, retail, restaurant and cafe uses at this central site in the city.
