Cork South Docks Local Area Plan
We were lead consultants on the development of a new strategic high-density urban quarter, an extension of Cork city. We prepared the Local Area Plan and project managed the design team. The Plan delivers a strategy that overcomes constraints arising from previous uses, addresses flood-risk and infrastructure requirements, and establishes a vision, planning framework and master plan for this unique area.

Cork City Harbour: The Cork Docklands Development Strategy
Cork City Council commissioned a long-term positioning strategy for this area - close to the heart of Cork city - as a location for global economic investment. Cork City is the second-largest urban area in Ireland where sustainable development, economic growth and jobs can be delivered. Focused, ambitious and realistic, the plan we delivered with Colliers International unlocks the potential of this area and reorientates development towards the city centre.

Shannon Free Zone Centre of Excellence Plan
Our concept was an innovative re-vitalisation of Shannon Free Zone as a centre of excellence for aerospace, advanced manufacturing, light industry, commercial and amenity space. Our proposals received the highest BRE GreenPrint Exemplar rating for sustainability objectives across social, economic and environmental issues.

Cork City Centre Strategy
We brought planning, urban design and a wealth of development expertise to this project team. The resulting Strategy seeks to re-establish Cork city centre as the working, living and leisure heart of the region, as well as reigniting its capability for employment creation, retail and residential opportunities.

Dublin Docklands Strategic Development Zone (SDZ)
The city's Docklands projects brought about massive change in this area and fostered huge investment, development and social interventions. The Government's 2012 designation of 66 hectares of prime real estate as a SDZ seeks to drive this area as a key location for inward investment, for city regeneration and as a strategic economic driver. On behalf of key landholders, NAMA and receivers, we have put a master plan team in place to represent some of the area’s most strategic development sites.

Award-winning work at University of Limerick
One of our most long-standing clients, we are proud to say that we have provided masterplanning, environmental, project management, landscape architecture and associated services to the University of Limerick for over 40 years both campus-wide and at project level. Because we have a vision for the overall campus, our work on individual developments is distinctive and innovative in itself yet harmonises with the overall campus objectives.

Main Campus and Innovation Campus Master Plan, Dublin City University
We prepared a vision and master plan to revitalise the main campus in such a way as to reflect the University’s international image, and to establish a framework to guide the development of DCU’s new Innovation Campus, itself a unique opportunity to nurture innovation and target cleantech industries. A key focus was the development of a connected public realm that would enhance the campus experience for all its users.

Tramore Valley Park Master Plan - Winner of a Commendation at the IPI Awards 2014
We created the vision and Master Plan for a 99 hectare park transforming the former Cork city landfill into a major city asset, providing for a regional play, adventure and energy park. An ambitious project encompassing family leisure, recreational and adventure activities, educational and employment opportunities.

Stoneview Master Plan
A 127 hectare site in Blarney, Co. Cork, our Master Plan for Stoneview incorporated a new settlement of 2500 dwellings, a mixed-use neighbourhood centre, schools, parks, a new railway station and a new interchange with the N20. Following a process of masterplanning, public consultation, detailed design and environmental assessment, Stoneview was granted permission by An Bord Pleanála.

Dublin's Grand Canal and Spencer Docks Strategy
Waterways Ireland commissioned us to carry out a study of Grand Canal Dock and Spencer Dock and create a master plan that realises their potential as recreational amenities and as a vibrant part of the city. A short and intensive project, our strategy unlocked the potential to deliver the Grand Canal Dock and Spencer Dock as unique destinations in addition to being the gateways to the canals network. We focused on active participation, spectacle, entertainment, leisure, and discovery.

Large Scale Rail-based Residential Development Areas in Dublin Development Strategy
Our recent study for the National Transport Authority assessed the future delivery of rail-based large and medium scale residential development areas in Dublin, given the current economic and funding conditions prevailing in Ireland and the current lack of new residential development delivery. Our four-stage study resulted in a plan-led phased approach that focused on retaining critical density requirements, leveraging existing stock, early-infrastructure investment, and environmental enhancement at each
phase.
